The Moment You’ve All Been Waiting For

Mar 14, 2014 by

I’m back!  I’m officially re-entering the blogosphere after a much-too-long maternity leave.

I feel a tiiiiny bit guilty for leaving you guys hanging on my multiple craft projects, so I’m dedicating the next week to telling you all about my puff quilts, baby quilts, “regular” quilts and more!  I’ll be updating my gallery all week, as well, so be sure to check that out.

Today’s project is the “Evelyn” Puff Quilt!  Evelyn was a milestone quilt for me because, prior to this, all my puff quilts were for friends or relatives of friends.  This quilt came to be through referral, so that made me feel good.  You like me, you really like me!  (If you don’t get that reference, just smile and nod.  I’m old.)

Without further blathering, here are some pictures:

There’s also an ADORABLE picture on our Facebook page with the actual baby Evelyn on this quilt. 🙂  So precious.

New Puff Quilt Day!

Sep 25, 2013 by

Although I have made puff quilts for girls before, I’ve never had the opportunity to make a “girly” puff quilt.  So when the chance came along, I took it! 🙂

Here is the “Reagan” puff quilt in all her glory!

These photos will also be updated to the Puff Quilt Gallery page for your viewing pleasure. 🙂

My next project is a twin-sized quilt for a softball player!  Originally it was going to be puff quilt-inspired but now we’ve decided to go in another direction…the disappearing 9-patch, which I think will be really cute!  Stay tuned for photos in the next few weeks!
